Two Year Olds

Everyone always says how rotten 2 year olds are and say the whole year is full of the 'terrible two's'  but I don't really get that. Maybe they have bad kids that are rotten all year but I love having a two year old. Don't get me wrong, my kid is not perfect, even I posted a few posts back about how Haylen has welcomed me into the two year old drama. He has his little temper and cries when he doesn't get his way, but overall the age of two is SO FUN! He says the funniest things, that make me wonder where the heck he gets this stuff from! He can express himself with what he wants or do not want , so the 'guessting game, and 'pointing to everything game' is now over. He understands emotions of happy and sad and loves to draw "happy mouths" on all his drawings. Today he was coloring and said 'circle' I looked down and sure enough he had drawn a circle. I couldn't believe it. I was so proud! My babies a smarty pants! Ha!
Haylen LOVES finding money and putting it in his piggy bank. He has bought two things already with his 'own money' and is SO proud that he got to buy it on his own. He says "Haylen bought, own money!" So excitedly. Its adorable. A few months ago he bought his first car! Well a car bed that is! I always wanted one of those when I was little, so I guess I get to live through him! They are like $400 new, so Ryan and I were going to get it for him  as his Christmas gift, but then I found one of the local Buy, Sell site on FB for $75.00 I was so excited, and so was Haylen!
Last week Haylen bought his 2nd major purchase, and it was a helicopter. It was adorable, he put the money from his piggy bank into his pocket and went to the store with his dad to buy a remote control helicopter. Ryan said everyone thought it was so cute when Haylen pulled out his own money from his pocket at the till and handed it to the cashier! That's right folks, my son is adorable!
 

Randomness

During the Day I always think, "oh I have to blog about that so I remember it," But when I actually get to my computer once Haylen is in bed and go to blog my mind is blank! So this will be a very random post

It's Been SO nice out for February, today was Plus 10! Yup Plus 10 in Feb! I'm loving it.
We went out to ride Haylen's "motorbike" (as he calls it, which is really just his peddless bike) and it was so fun. But that kid is fearless! He was so mad at me because I wouldn't let him ride it down a big steep hill, ha ha. He forgets he's only 2 and that he really is not indestructible like Buzz Lightyear.

Eating sucks lately. I don't want anything but cereal.

Thank heavens for Ritz Crackers! I pretty much have lived off of those for 3 straight months. Healthy I know.

Haylen new favourite thing to do is take screws outta things. One day he got a screwdriver and took the screws outta the railing on my stairs, and the baby gate. I didn't really think would be able to do anything productive with it, but he fooled him.
He also loves to 'fix' his 'motorbike'

Today I am 15 Weeks and have gained 10 lbs! Go Baby Go!

Haylen LOVES stickers! He got this huge 300 piece sticker book for Christmas and we spend alot of time working on that! It actually is pretty fun, but I have some major OCD when it comes to putting the stickers on right, so sometimes Haylen just gives the stickers to me to put on cuz he knows once he puts them on I am just going to move them into the  perfect alignment. I try to let it go sometimes, but then when he is in another room I get the book out and fix them anyways.....yes I need help!

American Idol started again! Ya ya! Love that show! Actually I love Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez

Haylen LOVES giving Kalla and Thor hugs and kisses. Thor is even warming up to Haylen and sometimes he will go sit beside him and ask for pets. Haylen also loves covering Kalla up with Blankets if he thinks so is cold.

To Infinity And Beyond!

One of Haylens all time favourite things to do is to watch Toy Story. He will watch it over and over and over again! He has even become OBSESSED with Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Bullseye and Rex! It's so cute! He went through a phase where we needed to pack Woody everywhere we went with us but he has seemed to grown out of that now and instead has started to think he can fly just like buzz!! He even thinks he has buzz's special buttons on his own chest. He will climb up on to anything, usually the coffee table, push his 'button', say 'and beyond' then jump onto the couch. He even holds on to the shoulders of his shirt and lifts it up and those are his 'wings' lol. It is so funny! He has such a great imagination!

One of Haylens other favourite things to do is to make towers out of lego. The other day we were playing lego in his room and says to me "make tower for sister baby."   Nobody has even told him that I am having a girl, but he insists that it is. haha, hopefully he is right or he will be one disapointed big brother!  He also always calls her 'sister baby.' He is way to cute!!

Broken Resolution

I'm sure I am the only one who noticed or even cared that I broke my New Year Resolution and missed posting the other day....In fact, I woke in the middle of the night in a panic that I didn't do my daily post! HA! I even contemplated getting outta bed and writing someone on here just to make myself happy! Ridiculous I know! SO anyways I am changing it to say "I will try my best to post everyday!" Oh and I will also add, I will try to upload more pictures too, because a post without pictures is definitely lame!!

Proud Mama!

I say it over and over and it couldn't be more true, I am one of the luckiest mommies with the sweetest most precious baby boy ever. I am so proud of that little man! Even though he is only 2, I am beyond amazed at how well he understands the whole 'mommy's pregnant" thing. He knows that there is a baby in mommy's belly, that he can't jump on me, and has to be careful when we are playing, he understands when I'm too sick to play and the sweetest of all is he already loves his little brother or sister! Every night before he goes to bed he has to say 'night night baby' and gives my belly a hug and kiss. It melts my heart every time. I am feeling so much better now, but when I was too sick in the mornings to get out of  bed he would just come into my room, give me my 'good morning mommy' hug, then go grab the box of Ritz crackers from the pantry and come sit with me in bed eating crackers together and watching cartoons, until I wasn't sick anymore. What a awesome kid! Also a few times now, he has even 'shared' crackers with the  baby...He will lift up my shirt and say 'baby crackers too" then place the cracker on my belly and put my shirt back down! ha ha! At least he will be good at sharing!! He is just beyond cute and I love every minute of him loving us!!

Back With BIG News

I'M PREGNANT!!!

Our little family will be adding 10 little toes around July 29th!!

Since I have been away for the past little white, I thought I better come back wtih a bang! Oh and by the way, I forgot to state in my New Years Resolution post that if I am away on holidays I will not post, so I really didn't break my resolution...yet...ha!

Anyways, back to my big news! I am SO beyond excited to be pregnant again and to have another little baby around. I LOVED being pregnant with Haylen, and so far I have been enjoying this pregancy as well, although I have been ALOT sicker than I ever was with Haylen. But since I am now 13 weeks, I am hoping that my energy starts coming back! I hate just laying around feeling useless!

11 Week Bump!

"old bubba"

A few months ago for some reason Haylen started calling his grandmas "bubba", we are not sure why, since nobody ever told him too, he just picked it up on his own. I know that "bobba" is grandma in Ukrainian, but nobody in our family is Ukrainian, and besides he says 'bUbba' not 'bObba".
I think its really cute, and no matter how many times we would tell him to say 'grandma', it would always come out 'bubba' so now that just kinda stuck.
Anyways yesterday I was uploading all our wedding pictures and this picture of me and my grandma came up and Haylen says "OLD BUBBA", lol, I thought it was so cute that he knew she was 'elderly' haha. I LOVE how Haylen  has his own thoughts and knows how to express them now. (The happy thoughts anyways!)  He is so fun!!

2012 New Years Resolutions

*Blog every day! I have the worst memory ever and I LOVE reading my old posts, so I decided this year I am going to write something down every day, even if it is a single word, it will be done! (Obviously I am already 11 days late starting, so wish me luck!)

*Do not use the microwave! They are SO bad for you!

*Say 3 Things I am grateful for everyday!

*Hand wash more dishes, to save water from running the dishwasher with only a few items in it! I HATE hand washing dishes so this too will be a challenge!

*Spend more time with my friends! I have realized I am a horrible friend and never make time for them in my life, so this year I will be more social and venture out of my house a little more!

*Read a book from start to finish! Sounds simple I know, but I don't like to read!

*Budget my groceries, and make a meal plan every time I shop

*Use coupons and try and only buy sale items at the grocery stores

*Organize and clean my crafts room

*Get my scrapbooks up to date!  I have an overwhelming amount of pictures that need cute little homes

*Organize all my recipes into a nice little book
